Canteen Committee

A canteen committee in Rabindranath Thakur Vishwavidyalaya oversees the management and quality of campus canteen services. It ensures hygienic food, fair pricing, and smooth operations for students and staff.
Purpose
These committees monitor daily canteen activities, including hygiene standards and food quality. They address complaints and promote a safe eating environment. Formed annually, they include faculty, staff, and student representatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor opening/closing times and enforce schedules.
• Approve menus, fix prices, and review items for taste and variety. Supervise cleanliness, sanitation, and waste reduction.
• Conduct regular meetings to set SOPs and handle vendor contracts.
